For my mom's birthday me and my brother are going to leave our families at home, and spend the night at our parents house. Eat sloppy Joe's, watch Home Improvement and Space Ghost, play street fighter, mom will make a butterfinger shake...
Okay maybe it's my birthday.

Nothing like that AIM door open sound and seeing your 6th grade girlfriend logged on…play it cool for a bit before I hit her with a “sup”

I can still remember the Pizza Hut commercial that played before my VHS copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I wore that damn thing out.
I also remember there was a poetry contest. And me and Jared Bon******* got our entires submitted.
And then when they printed the book his was just the lyrics from the Right Field commercial

One of the biggest disappointments of commercial versus game
Game is just shooting metal balls

As a kid of the late 70s and early 80s, I think the kids of the 90s were the last generation to grow up in a time when it was awesome to be a kid.

We had all of the same fun outdoor shite to do as the 70s/80s kids, but added the internet, improved video games, and had beepers to coordinate mall activities.

100% fact. As a 90s kid, I can definitely agree with this.
