School closures announced ahead of January Arctic blast

Ha. So will my work week. No way will I drive downtown if potential ice patches on Wednesday. I think Tuesday may be a given. I’ve done my time and have been one to go into the office “if you can” and hit black ice on way. I’ll remote for a couple/days as will coworkers. We are closed Monday.

Anyone who comes here to bitch can rent a bus, fill it with their own kids and drive around places like Lower Rome rd and other low lying, covered in bridges, LP shitholes...

No way schools will be open Wednesday either. The low Tuesday night will be in the low 20s or teens. The roads will still be iced up and there will be power outages due to ice.
