He has the same job title as JaCoby Stevens.

It’s possible he is better at his job than Jacoby Stevens
It’s also possible that it doesn’t matter bc he’s the coach’s son

BK is not gonna flame broil his own son.

He could be better, he could make significantly less. Who knows. Maybe nepotism. If he make a third of what Jacoby makes and does the same job????

Would you keep someone else over your son? That's like a dream situation to have your boy working with you.

Think Patrick Kelly is getting promoted.

Depends .. which son ??

You would think $10 Million every year could feed his family. And if his son was a decent coach, wouldn't he be able to get a job on his own merit at another college?

The real question; Will Sloan keep his job?

Coaches don't usually get fired fresh off a NC.

Maybe he likes it here working with his dad and he might also be good at his job.

Pretty much every coach starts out in this type of role, either at the school where he played or on the staff of someone he has connections with.
Coaching is a small fraternity and it's all about who you know.

Well played

WTF are you melting over? You have no idea whether either of those guys that lost their jobs, were actually productive. All you know is that they were former players, so therefore, they were great. You think Kelly is just getting rid of them out of spite?

If Brossette and/or Jacoby Stevens are/were decent coaches, wouldn't they be able to get jobs of their own merit at another college where they didn't play? Do you think it was just happenstance that they were given jobs at LSU or was that maybe a touch of nepotism as well? Neither had any working experience when they came to LSU. They had just been released as players from their NFL teams. What qualifications did they have for the jobs (compared to Patrick Kelly) they were hired to do outside of having played football at LSU recently? They had none, but LSU gave them a shot because they were former players. That's nepotism as well. And nepotism is how 99% of college coaches get into their first jobs.
