So his neck is fine now? It's really starting to look like he was pushed out and a health excuse was made up for him. Or he just got better.

CPM was a class act. I hope he does great at S. Carolina except when they play us.

If you watched a single game his last year it was obvious his neck was a problem. Actually taking time to rest and heal did wonders for him. Crazy how that works.

I want nothing but the best for CPM. I want to win a natty but if we fall short I hope Paul is right there again.

Dude, I had that surgery four years ago and it's still messed up. Impressive he was able to coach at all.

I wish him well but does he really think Jay isn’t going to sleep until he’s dead for taking Rooney while Pawl had keys to our castle?

I dont care for him because of these 2 reasons:

1) admitting he took it easy for a few years after his NC. We paid him high dollar to win consistently. If you’re going to put in 1/2 the effort then don’t expect full price.

2) holding the program hostage while he dealt with his neck/back issues for years. So because he won one title, we are just supposed to accept him not doing his job while the rest of college baseball was passing us up.

I don’t care how he does at USCe. I’m just glad he’s not here making another excuse to ride the gravy train. Alleva didn’t hold anyone accountable and there were to many people at LSU taking that same approach.

Going to be really interesting when we play S. Carolina the last weekend series of the season. If either team needs to win the series.......And CPM has always said he hates to play teams coached by someone he considers a friend.

But why go to a school with high expectations just like lsu? Why the grind again.....just seems weird his kids are no where near there so he won't have this time around grand kids

Just seems super awkward
