This brings to mind one of the lessons of the Hawaiian fires:
Warning For Our Times: Those Who Disobeyed The Government Survived…
…and those who obeyed the government perished.
When your family is facing some future natural disaster, pandemic or civil unrest, keep this in the back of your mind and plan accordingly.

I watched the vid expecting to find something unique or extraordinary in explaining how he saved his house.
Nothing.
From what it sounds (is his wife deceased? Evacuated?) it was just him. No one else. A hose, mask, helmet and goggles. AND he saved 2 of his neighbor's homes too!!!
Freaking how? How did HE use water from his own spigot when 1000's of other buildings got burned to ash?
He stayed. He stood his ground. That's what made the difference.

Regular old white guy knows better than the government experts?
You don’t say.

Sounds like, if the other home owners stayed, they could have saved their houses as well.

But LA has 3, count them, 3 lesbian fire chiefs.

So the man used his OWN water to save 3 homes, but a full force of Firefighters, all their equipment, trucks, gear, training saved...
Jack shite.

Imagine if every neighbor stayed and stood outside with their own water hose and just sprayed each ember that hit their yard. Sounds like that's all he did. Im sure for some it was inevitable especially if the neighbors house went up.

California will probably arrest him for not leaving and using his own water.

And this is what government doesn't want you to be... Self sufficient and resilient. They want you to be dependent on them, even when they never showed up to help in his area.

Down here you know some coonasses would have some jaeger pumps sucking off the beach saving their shite.
There...you can't even own a generator.
The people in the hills were just fricked to begin with unless you could dig a big well or have a concrete house.
They should have prescribe burned those hills after the new growth.

Nah. Elon, Trump and Larry Ellison gonna buy it all up. Elon just gonna buy LA and only allow non-woke settlers to occupy land.

The best thing that could possibly happen to CA is that burn completely and start over, with the few Californians like this guy leading the rebuild!
