Perhaps if humans stopped contributing to climate change - we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place.
Maybe it’s a sign from the lord building houses near Death Valley is not a good idea!

I'd sit this one out if I were you. Or at least find another outlet for you climate change hysteria.

I remember the Great Flood of 1993 along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Millions of acres were under water for months and when the floodwaters receded sand was covering a lot of that farmland. The federal government came into Missouri and other states and bought a shite ton of land that had been flooded where the levees failed, they allowed that land to revert back to its natural state as part of future flood mitigation measures along the river.

I lived a driver and a wedge away from Death Valley when I lived in El Cid during the 80's. El Cid is still standing nearly 40 years later. In fact, they are currently running a move in special.

Matthew 7:24-27
The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Considering hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes , wildfires, volcanoes, etc. there are quite a number of places one could consider "not habitable"

I guess the local climate could change if a human intentionally sets the nearby settings on fire...
