Will the winning QB of this game be the worst QB to play for a title in modern CFB?

I know we could mention guys from the ‘70’s and ‘80’s, but it was a different game then.
Off the top of my head, I’m thinking Jordan Jefferson, Todd Boeckman, Everett Golson, Greg McElroy.

If modern includes Bowl Alliance, Jay Barker is the easy winner though he had a good senior year. Abysmal in the Sugar Bowl though and that entire year.
Probably Jefferson though, despite the fact that this site was pining for him every time he got benched.

Damn. Didn’t know he died either. In his defense, he was a backup, right? Weinke was the starter up until late in the season when he got hurt I think.
