Great guitar player. Lyrics and vocals are below average.

Stapleton Steeldrivers and Sturgill’s Cuttin Grass albums are superior bluegrass. Hell an Average Devil Makes Three or Trampled By Turtles Song is better than any Billy Strings original.

He’s not in my rotation in my day to day listening but I do buy tickets to his shows when he comes close by. It’s worth every penny. He puts on a great show. And I saw Stapleton in a small venue before he got famous.

I admit I haven’t seen him live. And I might have a different opinion if I had. Just haven’t been impressed. My social media algorithm keeps trying to force him on me but he’s just aight.

Virtuosity is fun. Songwriting is meh. And bluegrass to begin with - one can really only take so much in a row to begin with.

Bluegrass kinda sucks.

Billy makes it fun and psychedelic.

Great live show.

I don't get it either. Why is he better than Bela Fleck, Alison Kraus etc.? Then again, i am not a fan of bluegrass.

Very good guitar player. However, when I first saw the video for "Dust In A Baggie" I thought he was autistic.

Most talented musician currently alive. Unlimited range. Great songwriter.

The Bob Dylan of our era.

You need to get out more.

The kid is good, but he's none of that.

Slow down there hoss. He's good. I like some songs. I'm not a bluegrass fan, so I can't listen to too much of it.

The lack of drums irritates me.

But most talented musician currently alive? In what way? He's not the best guitarist or singer or songwriter or performer. So what is he the most talented at?

Billy Strings has a core group of die-hard fans, but he's actually not that popular. He's a niche artist.

The idea that a bluegrass singer will span generations is silly.

And I like him. Seeing him live is something I hope to do on his next tour.

But Bluegrass is unpalatable to a large segment of the population.

Why did he get famous? What branch of the intelligence community is his dad in?

He's involved with the DEA, but on the wrong side.

Something about dusts in baggies.

I can’t wait to watch the biopic they’ll make about Billy Strings 60 years from now.
