He will be going to Mar a Lago to meet with Trump prior to Jan 20. I think he flips sometime in the next 4 years. Maybe on the very early side of that.

He is just being pragmatic. Do not get your hopes up on a party switch.

I do appreciate he appears to be honest. That's rare coming from either side of the aisle.

There aren't many. He's the only senate Dem that I consider honest.

I hope he stays a Dem. So many mindless people that just vote for someone with a D behind their name, and for a being absolute slob dresser...he has more of an actual brain / common sense than 95% of DC.

If he moves to R, he'll lose out next general.

The fact that Frankenstein's monster is one of the few, if not the only one, willing to cross the isle and at least listen to his opposition, makes me think that he is trying to position himself for the future

At this moment in history, he seems like a rational mind that is trying to create the foundations of HIS legacy that involves both parties for the betterment of America... regardless of his political affiliation

He's one of the few that I'd hear out, and let him voice his concerns

That's one hell of a rise from his parent's basement

I used to give him shite for this.

Then I watched him in a hearing, i think he lost most of his motor skills in one or maybe both arms. Hard to tie a tie when your hands don't work

Let`s see how he votes on critical legislation.

May be a Trojan Horse attempt.

Him and Timpon Walz were like brothers of another mother during the election.

Trust this goon about as far as you can throw him.

He has been sensible and logical. Hard to argue with a lot of what he has said lately.

Yup. Always thought that. It’s almost like he’s being coached. I hope it’s genuine though

Agreed. Your typical politician is a used car salesman that talks out of both sides of his mouth to his constituents, talks big to his opponents and then capitulates on the most important battles.

If nothing else, Festerman seems like a completely different breed.

He is playing John Breaux and will be one of the most powerful men in the senate because everyone has to go through him. Playing the middle.

Yes. He says a lot of shite, but votes with Nancy 95% of the time.

Thought I read somewhere awhile back that he & his Marxist wife had split. And she was an openly avowed Marxist.

The split up was a rumor. Both denied it.

He is 100% a Dem but he clearly thinks for himself. There is a level of dem influence where you have to fall in line, goes for any party, but I at least respect him for coming off as fairly genuine. Seems like a guy that does care.

It's the smart move. In a swing state swinging red, he's making the right choice.

When questioned today, Fetterman said that he hopes he is appointed the Pope of Greenland.
