You know you're really just getting a Geo Tracker.

They look fun AF to drive.

I bet the turning radius and parking ability is unmatched.

U turns probably can happen in the same lane of travel if needed

I know a guy that had his Suzuki Samauri break down on a beach in South Padre back in the 90’s.

He left it there because he didn’t have money to get it towed, and caught a ride back to Dallas.

He returned a week later and it was gone. Never to be seen again.

Guy I used to work with had one, damn near 20 years ago. Rode in it a few times and can't image ever wanting to own one.

Hell yeah. Do it.
Keep it off the interstates and you'll have tons of fun.

My dad had one for almost a year. He got drunk and popped the engine in a mud hole.

had a Suzuki sidekick about 30 years ago. Took it in the snow in the mountains, lost traction and very very slowly rolled down the mountain. I just sat there in the driver seat waiting to stop rolling

lol, as in you want one for the camp or to really drive around town?

Big difference in where ya going with this

We bought a 98 jeep wrangler for camp, I’d never drive that thing regularly due to the cultish behavior from “real” Jeep owners

Baw I know in texas has a sweet one for hunting.

He dropped a good 10k on one that had something like 20k original miles. It's pretty awesome.

They actually aren’t bad little off road vehicles. They are narrow enough to fit on four wheeler trails.

There is no power steering so putting bigger tires on it makes it harder to turn, and don’t plan on driving on the interstate. That 1.3L will sound like it will blow up at 60mph.

They will inevitably have an ECU issue. They are getting harder to find. They are out there now, but long term, who knows.

They also used to be $2k-$3k and now people want $6k-$7k+ for them. It’s not worth it.

If you aren’t going to work on it yourself then you might as well get a Jeep TJ for around the same price. It drives better on the road, is easier to work on, and has more parts available.

There is a Suzuki owners club in my area. They are pretty enthusiastic about those little pieces of shite!

Back before Smart cars were the pit car du jour we used them to tow the cars up to the line because they were cooler than golf carts and because we could use them for beer runs or generally frickery after the track closed. We had a full cage in it and would use it to fend off rental car wars. No one wanted any part of the zook.

Do it.

I have had 3 but never as a primary vehicle.

I never got one stuck. I stuck my CJ7 almost every time it got muddy.
