Do you think he is better than Sage Ryan or Major Burns?

We think Sage sucks but Ole Miss think he can help. Another man's trash is somebody else's treasure.

He’s legit at the nickel position.

CBK is scrapping the bottom of the barrel for safety help.

He struggled as a boundary corner last year. He was much better the previous 2 years as a nickel/safety.

Sage's best game all year was against Ole Miss. Lane probably thought he played like that all year.

I assumed we were content with Woodland at nickel - he played that role pretty well as a true freshman

He’s been named on all sec teams and was a preseason 3rd team all American pick until he was moved to boundary corner. I’d hardly call that scraping the bottom of the barrel

they moved Sage around way too much
he never truly got comfortable
lsu has to get better safety play from both safety spots to get the defense back to an elite level and I would say S was definitely the weakest link all year

Was he scrapping the bottom of the barrel with the rest of the portal so far? I don't see you saying anything positive about that.

He struggled on the with coverage on the outside at CB during year 3. He played Safety/Nickel the first 2 years and excelled. My guess is they will play him at at Safety/Nickel. Details and context are important.
