he's never been a DC in his life, so why would Bama make him a Co-DC to begin with?

Secondary/Defense played pretty well too. Being reported he did not mesh with staff and players and they are promoting Morrell to LBs coach so I guess there won’t be an official replacement except Linguist will coach all of the secondary now .

who was coaching DBs anyway, him or Linguist? i thought the secondary was a bright spot considering the amount of youth back there, though very talented

You’re not old yet, he just had a kid freakishly young. Probably got the girl pregnant when he was 15-16, I’m basically the same age as Dre and I have a toddler and 90% of parents in our kids age group are also our age

Lots of coaching staffs go through changes. It’s not scapegoating, it’s just the way that it works. Sometimes a guy isn’t the right fit and a change is needed.
