What's the Rant's opinion on LSU making the playoff next year...

Considering recruiting class, transfer portal, coaching staff, etc.?

It’s time for Brian to earn his money. No more fist slamming after a week 1 loss. No more “I need to coach better” on mondays after each loss. Coach better and get us into the playoff.

BK will have his best overall team since he has been here next year. Anything less than 10-2 and a playoff appearance will be a disappointment to say the least.

We all vastly overrated our O line. Felt like they could carry us when season began. Most of us were hopeful but still very unsure what to expect from Nuss and WRs. No one had faith in defense but knew we could only improve. There was reason for optimism about playoff hopes.
That being said… I’m way more optimistic right now than I was this point end of last season or during offseason. And the transfer portal signings gives even more hope. If we don’t make 2025 playoffs, there was a massive failure that took place.

Not that I totally disagree, but that's a bold statement considering no JD5, no Malik and no BTJ... For that to be a true statement, we're gonna need to have a top 25ish defense.

There is a ton of starter ready players coming in via the portal and recruiting. How quickly they assimilate will be key. We will have the talent to make a playoff run, but the schedule doesn't set up as well as last season.
I think we get in, but we are going to need some luck and games to break our way.
