Has had 3 different OCs.

This guy just had the second best single passing season with 4043 yards, 29 TDs passing and 3 rushing totaling 32 TDs with 12 Interceptions. He did this without:
Malik Nabers
Brian Thomas Jr
Justin Jefferson
Jamaar Chase
Terrace Marshall Jr.

Did that without a bigger faster receiver aka Hilton was out all freaking season. Mr Drops Lacy was his best receiver.

People need to give the kid a break — LSU could be a lot worse off.

A full season with a healthy Hilton sure would have helped. The last 2 games show how much we missed that deep threat.

3rd best QB season in LSU history. It’s wild how quickly people have become spoiled after the 2008-17 era. He didn’t have the line or receivers Burrow had and no one has JDs legs.

Florida alone Hilton should have has 2 catches for 85 yds and a td.

You give nuss Brian Thomas and nabors, he's likely at 4600 and 40 tds this yr. They were 2 of 10 best players in the nation, and 2 of the 3 best wrs in nation

Just look at what having a single deep threat did for the offense today plus counting today we’ve had at least 10 dropped TD passes on the season.

Hilton’s first touchdown was the most separation any receiver had all year. The windows that Nuss has had to throw into is no comparison to what Jayden had last year.

Can Thomas scored 30 points when he took 72 shots.

Exactly why Sloan needs to and will return. Continuity matters.

Nuss had a very strong season. I do worry about some of his tendencies- scrambling into pressure, happy feet, careless throws. But, reps matter and he should be much improved. Expect a monster season next year.

The majority of his picks are from getting tricked when D drops shallow zone to mid range. He sees an opening, but the robber falls back into the passing lane. You can bet that Sloan will be working with him on this until August.

Hopefully, that made sense. I'm a little tipsy.

It wasnt the number of picks. It was when he threw them. Half his picks were meaningless. The other half were game critical. He could have had only 6 picks this year which is an excellent number but the result would have been the same.

And he had ZERO running game so play action pass was eliminated as was a deep threat so defenses can do what everyone knows - he had to pass.

So it is like Cam Thomas playing with a missing foot on one leg and a hand on the other.

what he just did yards-wise was exactly that. It was second best passing yards in a single season.

There are 21 other players that contribute and this years receivers were a massive drop-off from last with Nabers and Thomas Jr gone.
