Let Joe Brady and Kubiak work their magic. He will develop as a passer and his passing stats in 2023 were solid. He’s an elite talent and is an elite runner. Worst case scenario you have a way better version of taysom hill. And our OL is built for running the ball anyway.

This team isn't built for anything except for tearing down and rebuilding.

A lot of teams draft good players when they’re rebuilding. Why pass on an elite talent because you went 5-11? Milroe went up and down the field against Jayden daniels. He won by 30 this year in tiger stadium. There’s just certain guys you don’t pass on

I don’t want a better version of Anthony Richardson or Taysom Hill at QB.

Just draft best DT, DE and OG the first three rounds and build the team.

Absolutely. Saints FO announce to the world that the intent is to Draft Jalen Milroe and make him the first pick of the 2025 Draft. Then the Saints trade talent and draft picks to move up to #1 pick in the Draft. Draft Jalen Milroe to be the Saints QB. First pressor, Loomis states that we expect him to be the next Archie Manning. Loomis chews gum during presser.

This would be a classic Saints move.

No doubt he's worth trading up to #1 to acquire. And just think of how the Saints market gets expanded to the state of Alabama by drafting Milroe.

Finally, think how hilarious this would be.

In 2023, Milroe held the ball the longest in college football before release.

That won't play in NFL. I'm not sure of 2024 stats.

In 2023, NFL QB times to throw were between 2.36 seconds and 3.23 seconds.

Milroe was 3.45...in an offense tailored to use his legs.

He would be a great Tayson Hill on a team, but he ain't an NFL QB.

Millroe didn't do anything against Jayden Daniels. Jayden wasn't on defense

You definitely missed my point, and that is not a surprise.

The Saints are not built for any one player because they aren't built at all. We need to be completely dismantled. We fricking stink, we need almost everything.

If you drafted someone like Milroe (and I am definitely not saying we should), you have to do a lot of building around him.

Maybe he could be something more in the future. His ceiling is probably Hurts.
But you are correct. He is a weapon more than QB right now. Not a first round QB anyway.
Anyone who takes him recognizes the talent but also that he is a project at QB.

That's interesting. What's true dual guys like Allen and Lamar's release time? I would think guys that can run hold it longer

He is neither of those.

He is worse versions of both. They never had the talent around them in college that he did and he still sucks 50% of the time.

Don’t you always shite on Carr on here and you want Milroe? Lmao

Your credibility is shot.

Bama fans want him to leave. That’s how bad he is.

Milroe can be a great version of Taysom Hill if wants to be...but agents, bad media, NFL hype shenanigans, etc..he could actually think he's an NFL QB.

It's as if I'm living on Mars when people say he's an NFL QB.

Jackson, all the mobile QBs could stay in pocket and deliver to multiple areas of field.

Milroe cannot and he holds the ball WAY too long.
