I’ll be the first to admit I thought he was making a huge mistake declaring for the draft but clearly I was wrong. Dude is tearing it up in the league. Seems that our lack of continuity at D line coach did this young man a disservice. Glad we got Bo Davis for the foreseeable future. Happy for Maason, rooting for you! Geaux Tigers

Who says we have Bo Davis for the foreseeable future. He could leave this offseason for the NFL?

NFL doesn’t pay assistants the way we do so if he wants to jump to the NFL he’s gonna have to take a big pay cut

Cortez Hankton is in a similar boat where he really wants to be in the NFL but the path for him is likely to take Pennies as an NFL assistant for a few seasons before they would make him a coordinator or HC. Hard to pass up making 4-6 times as much salary back home with an OC title

Seems like Kelly's inability to recognize and hire good position coaches did those players a disservice. Maybe Woody was making the hires, see Pellini.

Without Orgeron's hires we would still be crap.

He’s spent 20 years on the college level and 5 years in the nfl. Seems to me he prefers coaching in college over the nfl based on these numbers.

He looks healthy again. Quick laterally. He started to get it back at the end of last year, but looks 100% now. It’s a shame how impactful an injury to an interior DL can be.

I was wrong about him. Thought he would be worthless in the NFL. But now I’m pissed off about his time at LSU.

I understand the circumstances were complicated, but not bringing in a competent DL coach when Lindsey was out was a major fail. You can't tell me there weren't some serviceable DL coaches out there that weren't currently employed at the time or could be hired off a G5 team on a temp basis.

Well I’ll be gobsmacked. You’ve arrived. Not having an actual D-line coach was central to our defensive woes. If those guys don’t play well, the defense has very little chance to get stops.

So you thought he’d be a 2nd round pick and have a great rookie season based on his production here? If so, I think you’re one of the few that had that insight. I was honestly worried he would go undrafted, I was way off.

I’ll go ahead and end your feeble troll attempt.
And yet Maason Smith ha this to say about Matt House:
.“He’s always kept it real with me, I love to have him in my corner again and I’m grateful for it. I’m probably going to get on the phone with him after this because that’s my guy. Playing with the whole family, his sons, his daughter, Miss Jess, they always just allowed me and showed me open arms when I came to their home and everything.” said Smith.

lol. Orgeron hired Corey Raymond? Nope. Which coaches are left from Orgeron?
Orgeron set us back 3 years because of timing with NIL and transfer portal changes with the La Law on NIL too boot.

Let’s see how we can FINALLY get money to get the players we want - we’ll most of them.

LSU has a long ways to go.

sure would have been nice for LSU to have received even a tiny bit of that production. LSU got zilch from a 5 star recruit.

I’ll give you one thing. Most of the O dick suckers are a lot more subtle, but you still proudly slob that knob right out in the open.

Same with Danielle Hunter. Physical specimens who didn’t produce as much at LSU but wrecking the league

His current pay would rank 13th in NFL defensive Co. He would take a massive pay cut to be a DL NFL coach.
