Who is participating? And what is your story? I am on the fence on whether or not I should participate this year.

Why on flat Earth would I do such a thing?

Never done it though have gone dry for Lent. Doing it this year. Need to get weight down 10-15 lbs and want to see if giving up alcohol helps with my blood pressure.

I quit drinking three weeks ago so figured I'd keep it up a bit longer

Hey whatever makes you believe you are becoming a better person is a good thing. If you think you drink too much, you do. Go for it.

Are you a 'no nut' November guy also?
No to both.

There is a problem with that.
When i get a fire going in the fire pit and watch those wonderful dancing flames and crackling wood sounds, that first crisp, ice cold drink of a beer is one of the most magical feelings in the world.
It always makes you smile and able to take this huge deep breath of enjoyment.

Going through life in a drunken stupor isn't life, that is the only answer that you need.

I’m in. Nothing too overboard or crazy just been drinking easily almost daily.
Just makes sense to take a long break.

Same. Holidays is a pass but it’s definitely over consuming. It my choice, but I’ve been drinking for almost 10 days straight and I feel like a turd.

I’ll probably stick to gin and Sauvignon blanc to keep my January dry.
