Took advantage of the holiday discount 25% plus first time buyer 10% to score a set of TC201s.

While they are "OTR", I fully anticipate taking them to our club to get dialed in. Anyone have experience with Miura's? I've hit them in the past and have always been fond but the entry price was always steep. The discounted price was about the same as a new set of Mizunos.

No experience with them but please report back with a short term review and long term.

I’ve got a set of Miura CB-501’s from 2012 and they are money.

No complaints. They are a fun, backup set of mine, not because they don’t perform, but because I am trying to limit use on them and keep them nice.

It’s kind of a special treat to hit them.

Solid irons. Not as good as they once were. As they have become more popular the quality has gone down.

I have been playing those irons for years. You won’t be disappointed.

Why do you want to 'keep them nice'?

I plan to use them intermittently over the next 40 years baw

I’m not a baw that buys a set of irons every year

I enjoy hitting older irons and maintaining them as best as I can.

Fellas, they arrived today and I’m admittedly a Mizuno homer that never even bothered looking at another brand until I saw these (I own a ton of random sets but never gamed anything other than mizuno). I feel like an idiot because these are hands down the best irons I’ve ever hit. I really can’t find a negative at this moment. The balance, consistency, sound, lethal accuracy/command, workability, whatever you want to call it is like a 911 Turbo 4S. Just an insane amount of power and control in a small package that is there for whatever you want to do. Stepped on a few 3/4/5 irons and it was as if there was another gear to go. Soft pw/9 butter cuts sat right where I wanted it as if the ball was on a leash. I’m floored that in all my years a fitter never pushed these on me because I feel pretty fricking confident with these in the bag.

Everyone should take a look at Miura for their next set, in the 100-120 balls I’ve hit, I’m a new Miura homer.

Weird that people are downvoting you.

I am hitting some Sunday. My buddy has some and won’t stop raving about them.

Neither I nor the fitter saw much difference in performance or feel between the TC 201s and ZX7 MKII's for me. He said buying the Miura's would just be to say you play Miuras. However, I did like the shape of the Miura more and if you could get a decent shaft with no upcharge I'd be tempted to try a set.

I have TC201s currently. Srixon’s ZX7 II irons are a good alternative. Prior to my Miuras, I had the Z765s. My biggest issues (very small ones) are the extra offset and stronger 1° of loft on the srixon’s. The feel is typically very similar although I still prefer the Miuras.

I have the Zx forged/x7 combo. I had them bent up to 1.25 deg weak as i didn’t need them juiced. I can’t seem to find a reason to take them out the bag and i always look for a reason to buy new irons
