24- Chase Shores
27- Kade Anderson
31- Danny Dickinson
39- Bear
45- Anthony Eayanson

This is the most of any team. Tennessee has 4. Pitching should be elite this year barring injury.

Ware may well have a better year than those 3.

If LSU doesn’t finish, it doesn’t mean Johnson is a bad coach because of how elite of a recruiter he is.

Skip had 7 or 8 pitchers that made MLB rosters in 1989 and didn’t win. One thing I’ve learned is talent doesn’t always equal titles. Skip taught me that. Les solidified it as did Saban.

Saban and Skip only have 12* championships between them.

And in 1989, arguably the best pitching staffs in College Baseball history. Guys that pitched in the WS and played for over a decade at the MLB level didn’t win it all.

My post was the most talented rosters do not always win it all. You can downvote all you want but that is an absolute fact. Yankees prove it every year.

Heard Skip say this many times. He thought his 1998 team was one of his most talented teams.

Exactly. And there were several times we won the title that we weren't the best or most talented team.

In case anyone was wondering about the rest of the Top 150, here's a blurb they had in the article rounding out the top teams there:

1. LSU (9)
t2. Tennessee (8)
t2. Arkansas (8)
t4. Oklahoma (7)
t4. Wake Forest (7)
t6. Florida (6)
t6. UVA (6)

Did not know OU was coming in that talented. 3 of their 4 in the Top 50 came from JUCO. 2 are brothers

They recruit JUCOs really heavily and get a lot of really good players from there. They did pretty well in the portal also. I had said during the fall that they'd be a sleeper team for me in the spring, but they're getting enough pub that they can't really be considered a sleeper anymore.

Looks like they cleaned up Cam Johnson’s mechanics very quickly. He looks so much more stable in his delivery

Yeskie isn't normally a quick turnaround guy. He's been more of a long term development guy.

I'm not saying he can't succeed and make guys better here, but in the portal era where the pitching staff is going to turnover like 80% every year, it makes me wonder how a long term development approach is going to work.

Have been unimpressed with Yeskie but I do like the new strength coach’s approach,

And you know this before he pitches to a single batter for them.
