We have talent and we're deep. Flau'Jae, Smith, Williams, Morrow, Poa - that's solid.

Gilbert has ice water in her veins. She is beyond impressive. I'm expecting the consistent play to naturally come for the whole team starting Sunday with this last OC game.

We've got the experience to make a strong run.

Time to turn on the lights!

Having a cupcake early schedule was smart. Team needs time to coalesce.

Smith has to step up her game. I am aware that she is coming off a serious injury, so it might take time. Morrow is a great player, but she is not a center.Del Rosario has been a huge disappointment; she can rebound, but that is about it. We will make the tournament; I do not know how far we can go.

Definitely. There's no question that our bigs need to be more aggressive. They will not be Angel, but they at least need to have that intensity. I'm not sure if that is something that will come or never come. It's the weakest link.

They need to play aggressive defense.

Too early to tell but at least we don’t have any more Bring Back Pokie posts.

They are very good, but the bigs will struggle against elite teams. We rely too much on the mid range game of Johnson and Williams. I expect them to finish 3rd or 4th in the sec and make sweet 16 or elite 8 of the tourney.

Doubtful. SEC is almost as tough on the women’s side as the men’s. South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Kentucky are all in the top 16.
They need Smith to step up, Wolfenbarger to play inside, and a point guard to play consistent. Way too many turnovers and just stretches of bad defense in the last 2 weeks to think this team goes undefeated.
I think 13-3 sounds about right in SEC play.
That would out them around 28 wins headed into the tournament

Much better depth than last year. Del Rosario didn’t take the next step from last year which is disappointing. Pleased so far with Wolfenbarger. Samyah needs to keep working, but I think she steps up.

Great guard play and Morrow is a double machine, more consistency from Flau and Williams and this team can go deep in tourney. Team really misses Angel’s tenacity on the glass, Morrow needs someone to step up with rebounding

Until we play at Tennessee (Jan 9) and Vandy at home Jan 13, I will not know how this year's team is gonna gel.

I believe we will lose at least 3 SEC games like last season: @Carolina, @Texas, and one more.

We need Day-Wilson back at PG. We need Smith to get back to her Fall, 2023 form as soon as she can.

Poa looks much taller with a ponytail. Seems like it’d work the other way.

They need the posts to step up, they need serious work on off ball defense (too much ball watching and digging down to help for too long) and due to that they have trouble with Princeton style and flex cut offenses. Won't see much of it in SEC play but they need to be ready for it in the tourney. Offensively they can score with anybody. Less fouls and turnovers, they can beat anybody.
