I think the danger is the reverse.
Jefferies could promise the world to any TDS affected Republican who is reliant on his giveaways to get votes in their respective districts.

Pay attention only to how they vote. Joe Manchin is more conservative than 49% of "Republicans" in Congress.

Another indicator will be in committees. Each one has a majority leader (GOP) and a minority leader (Dem). I read that the strategy will be to get more moderate Dems as minority leaders to keep the commies out of the news and improve their image.

He talks like a moderate, votes like AOC.
In addition to that... someone in another thread mentioned him voting against Build Back Better as evidence Dems never break ranks.
He did vote yes but only after Consul Energy (his patron) got some pork added in by the Dems (who hate fossil fuels- so much for principles).

Both held their fingers to the wind and noticed the direction had changed. I would make them buck their party for the next two years rather than accept them into the GOP.
