As a Mizzou product I really wanted him to succeed, but the truth is the truth.

Jay Cutler is among the all time leaders in yards and touchdowns with the Bears. Drew Lock is not going to be among the all time leaders in anything with any team.

Drew Lock hasn’t been all that good since he came into the NFL, but today was a career killer. He is D.O.N.E.

Jay Cutler has a higher career Passer Rating than Eli Manning.

Cutler - 85.3
Manning - 84.1

Drew Lock isn’t anywhere near a good, but never consistently great, 2nd-tier NFL starting quarterback.

Lock has the arm talent but he developed bad habits in High School and never got rid of them.

Cutler was solid in Denver. Chicago is where QBs go to die

Who knows how his career would have turned out had he never went to Chicago

A million dollar arm and an incredible athlete with a $2.00 brain.

I’m pretty sure not being from Mo. or K.C. area on this board, that most don’t realize that Drew had multiple DI offers to big time programs to play basketball as opposed to football?

Zero concept of a pre-snap read, never has looked off a safety in his career, just tries to throw it through or over them, a check down, what’s a check down?

Cutler remained solid in Chicago. He got the Bears to an NFC Championship game, and he lead one of the best offenses in football in 2013. He is in the argument with Sid Luckmam for best QB in team history.

Unfortunately, he was always getting banged up behind O-lines that were inconsistent at best, and the aging Bears defense went from great to absolute shite after Lovie Smith was fired and Mel Tucker became DC.
