With a 98% audience score. It’s nice to see Hollywood finally starting to understand how to adapt video games to movies and shows now

The Sonic series being really good is something no one saw coming.

yeah but the OP shouldve put the 98% audience score in the title because critics are never reliable on non-serious movies like this.

Yeah, not sure if I’ve ever been more wrong about a movie looking at the trailer.

It’s like the little trilogy that could. They’re just fun movies that don’t take themselves too seriously made by people who care about the source material and understand internet culture. It comes across as self-aware and irreverent, but also respectful of it’s source and fans.

Yeah I enjoyed the first two and will watch the 3rd at some point. The 3rd one looks great too.

Paramount can’t be mad about their money either. The first two have done well compared to their budget. I feel like I’ve seen more advertising for this one and with kids on holiday break I would expect it to beat the previous two in revenue.

My kid LOVES Sonic. We had to watch the third movie Thursday night. She has been talking about it and planning for it for months. We didn't mind because we all enjoy these Sonic films, and this one was another solid entry. They've found the perfect mix between campt cartoony humor and serious plot points. Keanu Reeves is the perfect voice for Shadow. Jim Carrey seems like he was born to play roles like Robotnik. Just fantastic.
The Knuckles show was...weird. I didn't get it. My wife didn't get it. Even my Sonic-obsessed teen didn't get it. Might be the first time we've all watched a show and all agreed it was not good.

My kids loved it. I’d put it below Sonic 2, it was fine.
It did have done good overarching themes of love and teamwork that even 6 year olds can understand. I hope they keep rolling.

Saw it yesterday with the kids. I thought the silly scenes were a little longer than they needed to be, but overall - a good movie. The last act was action packed and ended big.

Saw it last night finally. It was the weakest of the 3 but it was a Fantastic movie regardless Sonic is one of the best video game movie franchises ever imo. They got just about everything right.

I was surprised at the mid credits ending. I thought this would be the last of the series. But I’ll be happy to see another.
