With a win against UIC tonight 91-73. It was a homecoming game for Aneesah Morrow who had 19 points and 13 rebounds and is from Chicago. She is a double-double machine.

I listened to Kim on post-game radio. She has the red-arse. Says we have no leadership and that "we are still looking for someone to play point guard"

The fourth quarter got sloppy but we scored at will.

We played three games in 5 days. Our D was weak tonight due to lack of intensity. Girls will play better D when they return in 10 days and in the SEC.

Im not worried about them, but you would like to see the intensity every night. It doesn't have to be the same people every night, either.

Has there been any news on what Wilson’s injury is and when she may be back? Hopefully by SEC play.

It's a tossup whether Saban is more intense than Mulkey or vice versa.

Pretty sure Saban is scared of Mulkey

Gilbert has hustle and attitude but also is responsible for 80% of the teams turnovers. Sheppard is either hurt a little or not as good as thought. Poa can defend but couldn’t hit sand if she fell off a camel. Richard is still young and green.

We have not had a real court general since Khayla Pointer. Nice thought to bring in Hailey Van Lith last season, who wanted to master pg to broaden her game for the WNBA. I thought her game would transfer seamlessly to point but that obviously didn’t happen.

As mentioned, every potential point guard on the roster has talent but some flaw preventing her from being a complete pg. Looks like it’s going to be by committee through the SEC schedule and tournament. That could limit us to, at most, the Elite Eight.

I sense she is in Mulkey's doghouse a little, which seems like a miserable hell to be in.

Sdw hurt her ankle vs Stanford and Kim has been resting her till after the break to not take any chances.

I would take Gilbert any day. She has hustle and intensity, which Kim loves. She usually provides the spark the team needs. She can score from any place on the court and beyond 3-pt line. She can play PG. She may end up on starting 5.

Aneesah Morrow

hardest working player I have ever seen in WBB and a bit of an enforcer on the court.

She throws a pretty good elbow.
