Without a doubt, has caused more vehicle accidents and road rage than anything except maybe social media.
I had to drive on I-20 today and between Dallas and the Stateline, I spent most of my time behind 2 18 wheelers battling out who's 65 MPH was faster.

That's a shithead truck driver problem, not a speed limit problem. They do that at 70mph too

Well tbh,
Driving in Dallas isnt a good example. We drive 85 everywhere we can

When they implemented rest hours and stopped OTC amphetamines, we all lost.

Why don't you just calm down and stop speeding. You are causing all the accidents.

I'd be much happier at 70 MPH in a 75 rather than 64.8 for 20 miles in a 75 zone.

It's like they see you coming and closing quick. Instead of being patient and waiting for a good clearing they rush over to begin the process of passing the other truck just to make you wait.
I've driven Shreveport to Colorado multiple times. I-20 is congested, I get it, make a move when you can, but middle of nowhere on 287... It's maddening.

I40 W leaving Memphis is the absolute worst for Semis passing each other

Speed limit isn't the problem. Its stupid motherfrickers trying to merge into traffic going 65 at 45.

I think the assholes who ride in the left lane the entire time need to be charged for some sort of crime

Why don't you just pass them? Limit is 75 most of 20 to Dallas

Where? On the shoulder?

The usual next step is for the guy in the left lane refusing to get back over after he passes because he will eventually overtake the truck ahead in the right lane, so regular moving traffic gets backed up for miles.

The main highway arteries in Ohio are all three lanes now. It makes driving SOOO much more relaxing and safer.

Covid also saw to it that driver shortages forced the Diesel Driving schools to graduate a lot of guys who weren’t ready to handle big rigs or just flat out had no business doing so to begin with.

Try that stunt in Alabama, and you violate a 2019 anti-road-rage law basically stating that you have 1.5 miles to get out of the left lane.
And of course, now there is anti-road-rage law firm.
