Isn’t it pretty cut and dry this had nothing to do with his official capacity running the country?
This was a private payment that doesn’t concern the U.S.

The Merchan case was the financial shite from before his presidency, no? Completely unrelated to the immunity ruling from scotus.
Or am I wrong?

Well they used his official capacity to help upgrade the misdomeaners to felonies. At least I think that is what they did

Except that The clown judge admitted in evidence some conversations Trump had in the WH with other government officials. There is so much reversible error in this case, it’s hard to know where to start.

Exactly. His evidentiary rulings went full retard. The chief witness for the prosecution did time for perjury IIRC and the judge precluded the defense from impeaching him.

This clown is playing with fire. He might be untouchable from the bench but his daughter will be fair game for Trump's DOJ starting 1/20.

Pretty sure you are correct. It's the case where he was charged with fraud (?) for overstating the value of Mar-A-Lago in order to secure a loan. The bank came back with a lower number.
The judge came up with his own number, which was laughably low. Still, the bank made the loan, Trump paid it back with interest, and the bank actually testified that it was not defrauded.
The convictions should be overturned on appeal. Of all the bullshite cases against Trump, this was the bullshittiest.

The charges in NY are clearly bullshite, but why would potus immunity play a part? The alleged offenses have nothing to do with his duties or actions as POTUS

All loan applications Trump signed clearly stated that Trump's valuation of MAL was strictly an estimate and that the bank was to conduct its own due diligence and valuation.

It is also complete BS cooked up to get Trump and deny him his civil and constitutional rights as well as interfere with the election. Merchan need to go to jail for making a mockery of the judicial system.

Media: "Judge Denies #Trump’s Bid to Throw Out Conviction Over Immunity Ruling. Justice Juan M. Merchan thwarted one of several attempts by #DonaldTrump to clear his record of 34 felonies before returning to the @WhiteHouse. The judge’s ruling preserves, at least for now, the stain of Mr. Trump’s criminal conviction. And if it withstands an appeal, it will make Mr. Trump the first felon to serve as president."
