Last year, India nudged past China to become the world's most populous country, according to UN estimates. With nearly 1.45 billion people now, you'd think the country would be quiet about having more children. But guess what? The chatter has suddenly picked up. Leaders of two southern states – Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu – have recently advocated more children.

Years ago my boss went to India and talked about what a nasty place it is, especially when taking a dump

I don’t mind our Indians. We get the best of the bunch.

Not lately. Just wait until everyone figures out that most of the “job growth” in the past 5 years is just visajeets delivering doordash orders.

I've know several military members who have gone over to train them on our airframes. They report they are the dumbest race of people on the plant. The successful ones you see here are the top .000001%.

I’m sure it has its upsides. All the Indian people I know in the US love going back to visit India.

Spent 6 weeks in Mumbia on a work assignment. The plane landed at around 2 in the morning and headed to the terminal and smell was detected on the plane. Well it was nasty. The smell there is unreal. After a few days you get some what use to it. Over 22 mil in the city and vast majority living in tin make shift huts. We drove to our hotel in silence stunned at the sights we saw on the way. Poverty like you have never seen. The place is an absolute dump!!! Car horns honking none stop day and night1

Some of those pictures seem like you can smell them through the photo.

I saw someone on twitter that mentioned one of the Indian states, don't remember which, was roughly the size of Maine, its chief economic agriculture, and it had 100 million people in that area.

Edit:

Should we bust out the Google Maps game again (street view a random area in India, if there is no trash at all or feces, you win )

I am aiming to see about 70% of the countries of the World in my lifetime.

India is specifically excepted from my to-visit list.

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan made the "exceptional" list too.
