Has anyone had issues with these things getting little splotches and discoloration? My dad has one also that has some spots developing. He only uses it for water and I doubt it’s even been in the dishwasher.

Hope you didn't pay more than $10 for that

I’d call Michael Bonnette. He will send a replacement.

I have a purple Ozark Trail 20 oz tumbler that is at least 6 yrs old and that same thing happened to it just recently. I attributed it to the dishwasher.
I googled the issue and it sounds like it is dishwasher detergent residue. The post I was looking at said you could wash it off with boiling water. Also said it should come out in the next wash.

I don't think you're supposed to put the "painted" ones in the dishwasher. I think the drying is to hot.
And I said painted, but whatever it is.

It looks like something somebody's wife made with a glowforge or some other cheap chinesium laser setup

Nah, FaceTime him. It's a stronger move.

I don't understand people buying these to collect, then actually drinking out of them and putting them through a dishwasher.

Yep! Happened to mine this weekend after first wash in the dishwasher. Glad to know it’s not just me.

You are supposed to put any of these style cups in the dishwasher to begin with.
