You can probably put Sid Edwards out as Istrouma head coach. I doubt he has time to coach football and be the mayor of Baton Rouge at the same time.

Karr crossing Parish Lines and getting whomever they want. Also, Shaw deciding to get serious again hurts them. Reggie Rogers was never a good HC, there or at Bonnabel.

Alumni here, I genuinely wish the best for this program and the kids. That said, they need to re-district this area and send the kids to STHS. The school has been torn down and this gives STHS to go to 5-A. No need to spend the money on rebuilding the school when there is already an established institution a few miles away they can add too. The outward migration of this area doesn’t sustain two high schools.

I think Simoneaux has found a sweet spot for a while. He came in as an outsider and not the good ole boy that Central has been accustomed to. He also does a great job of being involved in the commmunity but not to the point that every Dad with a bone to pick feels like he has access.

Good news for central is I’ve heard PBS doesn’t care like it use to and has basically stopped focusing on being a powerhouse.

I have a feeling he could end up in college if he wants it. Probably not on LSU's level, but he could definitely go FCS if he wanted.
