Detroit waived Paul Reed which now gives them 15.5 million in salary cap space. They have to make a move within 24 hours to get above the salary cap floor, so a trade should be coming in soon, they could delay the waiving of Reed for a few days though until whatever trade they’re making is fully agreed upon

Does Trajan like Zion or BI?

Not sure Detroit has anything I want though

BI for Hardaway, Stewart and picks works

With the cap space they have they could do BI for Hardaway and picks now I believe.

I think anything they’re working though would be as a third team taking on salary for picks.

He likes McCollum. They need vet leadership.

I don’t think anyone trades for BI or Zion while they are hurt and can’t play. CJ on the other hand should absolutely be traded, before he somehow gets hurt and we can’t trade him.

Looks like Golden State will be getting better. A straight up trade for D’Anthony Melton makes money work

I saw Marx talk about this. Melton is out for the year and is an expiring. GS can do a straight swap, salary wise. I'm not sure how much else they would need to give the Nets, as far as picks..

This always comes to mind whenever a Pistons trade comes up.

I really like Stewart, he brings some toughness to this team that we really need. The Pelicans are by far the softest team in the league especially since Naji left

I don't know. Supposedly they were targeting Butler. That 12M, from Melton, would have helped out a lot. Now they are going to have more like 4 other guys to match up the money..

Dennis was playing really good ball for the Nets. Cam Thomas was emerging as an all star before he got hurt. Not sure why this trade

They're not contending and in asset acquisition mode.

Wouldn't surprise me if they traded simmons to facilitate a bigger name trade.

?? Nets FO is trying to tank. They aren’t going anywhere with this roster. And cam thomas being an all star wasn’t happening this year.

We better sell some players quick before the market dries up.

Hardaway and Stewart is a disgusting return. I’d rather BI walk than sell him for some bums.
