Today, me and my kids are having to put my down sweet terrier of 13 years

We have watched her struggle to walk and do pretty much anything for a while...........and its time. Even though we arent ready.

Please think about a good Tiger family today. Gonna be rough.......

Rest in Peace Cassie girl.

Cassie was a good girl. She has a soul, the same as us. Sending you support and understanding.

I'm all about some dogs and am a huge advocate that we don't deserve them.

But dogs do not have a "soul the same as us".

My 15 year old Blue Heeler is heading that way. early stages of blindness and hips are going bad. We will be taking the same step because I saw a family member keep a pet alive for their benefit while their dog was suffering a lot. She can get around decently and see ok, but if her eye sight or hips get worse we will be letting her go rest for being an awesome family member.

Good wishes to your family

you have my sympathies. I have had numerous cats that I have lost over the years that hit hard, but losing our dog 4 or so months ago is still a raw spot. you never really realize how attached you are until they are gone.

miss my damn dog everyday

We had to do this last year with our dog. I feel terrible for you and your family. My young kids insisted on being there for it. (that was tough)

I'm not going to sugar coat it.... I had instant regret the moment the Vet put the medicine in. It's the worst feeling in the world.

My wife waited 5 months after we were told it was time. Our pup finally let us know on his own that it was time to let him go.

you're doing the right thing
