Lot of good choices but i personally would not want to catch an in route with Troy Polamalu headed my way full speed. I saw him and ed reed play a lot against the titans in person back In the day and when Polamalu was in his prime he was absolutely unbelievable how he could be everywhere on that football field for the Steelers. I didn’t get to see Ronnie Lotts career but I know he will have some votes

Steve Atwater was great, but my favorite was Cliff Harris at Dallas. Played at ouachita Baptist in college and would knock himself out trying to punish receivers.

Those were some great Cowboys teams with Harris and Charlie Waters at safety.

In his prime. Bob Sanders.

I'd take Ed Reed over anyone else. Polamalu was incredible too, but he could be beat in one on one pass coverage. Pretty sure Brady and Manning both said they feared Ed Reed more than anyone else.

We got a bunch of young pups in here. And Ronnie Lott is the best in my lifetime.

Run support? John Lynch
Coverage ability and ball hawking? Ed Reed
Best combo of the two? Troy Polamalu
If Sean Taylor had a chance to play his full career, he would have been in the discussion, imo.
Steve Atwater, Bob Sanders, prime Roy Williams all have mentionability to their names.

Bob Sanders.
Had he been 3 inches taller and 15 lbs heavier he likely would have been the greatest ever. He was only 5'8" and around 205, and his body couldn't take the abuse.

Emlen Tunnell, Ronnie Lott, Ken Houston.
