Google just jacked the price up another $10 per month. Cord-cutting is the same as cable and satellite.

I really like YouTube tv and don’t see much else out there better.

Not for me. I just don't watch TV or subscribe to streaming services. All I have is YouTube Premium because I hate ads.

I like YTTV for football season but I’ll be cutting it after the SB. I’ll probably order it again next fall.

I cut the cord with cable a few years ago and switched to Youtube TV but then they started jacking up their price so I cut that too. I now have local stations, Netflix (which Im thinking about cutting off as well) and Amazon. I dont miss cable or youtube tv.

I jumped in on 2020. $90 a month now (with tax). Is insane.

It’s the best tv streamer out there and I love it, but might start looking elsewhere.

DirectTV streaming when I had it was actually a better product, but YouTube gave you more for less, but may have to give them a look now

If you have another family member who wants YTTV you can do the family share. I dropped it 2 years ago because they lost the rights to play Pelicans games but my brother had it and he added my google account to it for no extra cost. I sign in with my own google, nothing he records or watches pops up on mine or vice versa.

If you know someone that has it just get them to add you and send em some venmo to split the bill. Me and my two sibling are on one account so it'll still be under $30 a month for me.

Obviously that's not for everybody and $83.99 is overpriced (was $50 when I originally signed up), but if you can do it it's a way to save some money.

@saintsfan1977

What is your email? I have a great IPTV service but always looking for a reliable backup, the ones i've tested haven't met my expectations. If you want to put the service here and not provide email, that's fine. Not sure if you want to broadcast it or not.

I used Fubo over the summer so I could watch the Rangers games. I couldn't wait to get back to youtubetv. However, I guess I need to go and see what else is out there. ESPN accounts for at least 80% of the live TV in my house.

Most of this was pulled from some articles I read as soon as I saw the email from YTTV. Feel free to offer some info and I can update this.

YoutubeTV $83/month - best channel selection, great DVR

Hulu Plus Live $83/month - includes ad-supported version of the Disney Bundle (Hulu Basic, Disney Plus and ESPN Plus), and if you want the ad-free bundle, the price is $96. Has exclusive content. Channels not included: AMC, BBC America and NBA TV.

Sling (blue & orange) - $55 + $11 sports extra package to include SEC network and others. Weak DVR.

Philo - No ESPN

Fubo - $80/month + $15 with regional sports package. Channels not included: CNN, TNT and TBS

DirecTV Stream - $87/month + $10/month for unlimited DVR. (edited b/c MLB and NFL network are included)

Youtube ads have gotten much worse lately. Yesterday, I was watching some videos, and they played a 2-minute ad that I couldn't skip for a 90-second video that wasn't what I was really looking for. So I had to click another video and watch another 2-minute ad that I couldn't skip to find a video that really had the content I wanted. It's an obvious ploy to force people to pay for the premium. I don't watch a lot on youtube so I don't want to pay for the premium. I don't mind ads as long as they aren't longer than the damn video I'm trying to watch.

This is when I dropped it. Outside of sports, I wasn't watching anything. Wasn't worth it.

Xstream is one and I have another one that is 4k IPTV. Both cost 100 dollars for the year. I have every channel, 120k movies, and a huge number of series. It seldom ever buffers. If you have good internet it's great but the EPG locks up every now and then on tivimate and I have to recycle everything and it works.

Same for me, once the college football season is done or when all the games are on broadcast TV then I drop my subscription to Sling. Will shop again during the summer to see who will offer the best deal to watch college football. I paid $220 for 4 months for their sports package which I thought to be a fair price.
