Top 5 all time bands for me regardless of genre. Concerts are outstanding.

They are playing the Saenger on Saturday night. I am trying to figure out a way to make it work.

"Broken Window Serenade" is extremely good. I find with their music it is based off basic chord structure and done to perfection. You can fall in love with their music, pick up the guitar, and you can play along pretty easily.

In short, great band that keeps it simple and awesome.

anyone else go on Saturday? the show was good. i thought Cody kind of stole it though as the opening act, but i'm biased. great night overall.

It was a a really good show, but obviously a different vibe than regular shows. They bring a lot of energy to their shows, so “acoustic” version took some away from overall performance. The Skynyrd cover was great, on the river, and Feet’s were good. Cody Canada was really good.

Seriously? Saw them at the river center and it was one of the worst concerts I’ve ever seen.

Best active band to debut in last 2 decades IMO.

First album was decent but raw. Every subsequent album is unique and awesome. For anyone who isn’t familiar or thinks they sucked like, YouTube these songs (2 or 3 per album). Trying to highlight their wide range. Skipping debut album

Album: Firewater
Bar, Guitar and a honky tonk crowd
Broken window serenade (brutal song but showcases songwriting prowess)
Different mold

Album: Early morning shakes
Early morning shakes
Where the sun don’t shine
Lightning (another brutal one but great writing)

Album: mud
On the River
Frogman
Stone

Self titled album Whiskey Myers
Bury my bones
Die Rockin
Kentucky gold

Album: tornillo
The wolf
Feet’s
Bad medicine

Love Whiskey Meyers overall but much prefer the original of this by Brent Cobb

Going to see Cobb in a couple months at a small venue. I’ve had a few chances to see Whiskey Meyers and it’s never timed out right but hoping they do some good shows out here this year at some point

Broken Window Serenade is a fantastic, but really sad song.

I had never heard of them until I saw them open for Blackberry Smoke. Been a fan ever since.

I've been seeing them live for about 12 years now. A friend's band opened for them in 2012 and I was hooked that night. They've gotten so much better of the years. Always a great live show.
