What do you wear to the gym?

I wear common shorts and a t-shirt
A few ridiculous observations:
There’s always the 2-3 guys still living in the 90s with the parachute pants and/or string tank top
There’s the full on game day guys with spandex leggings/jumpers under their shorts and arm sleeves
There’s the Asian man on the treadmill in full business casual sweating his arse off.
The younger generation seems into wearing flannel pajama bottoms in the gym.
There’s the non doctor working out in scrubs.
Which one are you and why? Gyms are a weird crowd man.

The only gym habit we have that some might confer off is when we go. We always go on the evening, usually around 6:30. We’ll have dinner at 5:00. Then sit down for about 30 minutes to let our dinner settle and then go to the gym. Usually we go Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, though sometimes we’re busy and skip Saturdays.

I wouldn't worry about what everyone else is wearing but if you wanna look cool, tight gray sweat pants with a sleeveless shirt is the way to go.

I was in Glacier a few years ago hiking the Highline Trail and passed an Asian guy that was wearing grey slacks, a white button down shirt and dress shoes with smooth leather bottoms.
