Anyone watching Black Doves on Netflix?

We’ve burned through half of the episodes so far, and this show is pretty damn awesome. It’s a fairly generic international spy thriller that has some of the usual come on frustrations that those shows have, but it’s pretty well-done overall. Has a lot of characters and stories they’re weaving together pretty well. No clue if they’ll land the plane as haven’t finished, but the first 3 episodes are damn good.

Finished it last night. Overall, I enjoy it. At times, it seemed to switch gears in an odd way from thriller to comedy, but that didn't bother me too much. The main relationship was a bit of a head scratcher, but I got over it. Would watch again.

I liked it a lot, thought it was well done, great cast, acting, interesting plot. Fair amount of ghey in a couple of episodes though.

It became pretty easy to know when to use FF.

I finished it yesterday. I really enjoyed it. I could have done without the large amount of gay.

I have never heard but after reading thread I Will not watch due to excess ghey. I require insufficient ghey.
I'm sticking to Real Housewives, me.

Male or female? I’ll ask what others are wanting to ask.

One last time, there are NO Black Dwarves in...
Oh. Wait.
Black DOVES.
Nevermind.

Show was created by Joe Barton who created Giri/Haji. I recommend that one if you haven't checked out yet.

I Will not watch due to excess ghey.

Yeah I really liked it, minus the scene where the dude was getting pounded from behind. That I couldve done without.

I added this to my list after this thread was started, I am probably going to delete it from my list now reading this thread about it going gay.

I’d never even heard of this. Love that little twink Ben Whishaw. Will definitely watch this. Thanks for the heads up.

It’s about as good as you can expect of this type Netflix series. Probably less than 2% of the air time is gay activity. If you can handle that, it’s a good show. If not, there’s always the Great American Family channel.

First time meeting a batshit woman in their early 40s? That was probably the most believable storyline of the show.

There will be a season 2. I’ve seen a couple of references to it in articles.
We weren’t sure who the chick was sitting with Reed in the closing montage. Articles explain who she was and say many viewers had the same question. I won’t spoil it, even though it’s not a huge deal, but the answer is easy to find if you were puzzled like we were.

Stopped watching during episode 2. All that crap was ridiculous and unnecessary.
