It's supposed to be a period piece and her odd plastic surgery face is just distracting. She can barely move her face.

I told my wife I couldn’t watch “The Perfect Couple” because her face was too distracting. It’s not natural in any way.

I liked it well enough but it didn't wow me.

Eric from true blood really hit the juice in this one. I liked this the best out of this directors films even though Ana Taylor Joy is one of the oddest looking cats in show business

Yeah, I was expecting more of a fantasy. I'm surprised that the budget was as high as it was, and even though it was well received, it didn't do well at the box office.
