Strength and Conditioning Coach (LSU)

Is there any chance BK upgrades the S&C staff? We are getting pushed around on both sides of the ball, which never used to be the case. And lack of speed and strength contribute to our tackling woes and WR’s inability to create separation.
Upgrading this spot, and figuring out how to bring McMahon back would certainly enhance our competitiveness.

Agreed. We all see it. Analytics vs Visual Evidence is staggering

People have been saying this on this board for 15 years across 3 different staffs

They don't have to change the staff. They just need to change what they want from the staff.

The reason Tommy Moffatt wasn`t effective his last few years was
because both Les Miles and O didn`t enforce the discipline aspects of
breaking the Moffatt rules.Missing training sessions not taking weight
traing serious enough.TM when he was under NS was at his best because
the HC allowed TM to discipline the players and it worked. LSU was big
and strong when LES took over. The first 10 years of LM he allowed TM
to do his thing ,then he became lax and things fell apart. The same with O
after 2019 he totally gace up and TM got alot of blame.
LSU needs to bring TM back and allow him to implement his 4th quarter
program, thats what this program is lacking.

Listening to him when he was doing his own thing on Mic’d up and his own podcast was awesome. Gave great insight into the expectations and what made him great. IMO still one of the best in the game. We need more power and stamina in our program.

Revisionist history.
You can't roll out three stars and freshmen in the SEC and expect to not get pushed around.

Is the guy that was addicted to Pain Killers at Alabama/Georgia fixed yet?
Would we want him?

We should do anything we can to get him. Scott makes beast, bring him in and have a baby sitter for him

Nope, Jake Flint has been a part of Kelly's teams and staff for 24 years.
I don't think LSU has a S&C problem. IMO, most of the players are soft, and more concerned with social media, wearing diamond & gold chains, and chasing NIL dollars. CFB players today aren't hungry as they have everything given to them including 6-figure salaries that are guaranteed regardless if they win or lose.

LSU grad and trained under TM.
I would say yes.

Didn't he "go to rehab" while at UGA, was ST Coach and then "disappeared"...havent heard his name in a while.

Yea he went off the rails with UGA had to go to rehab. He is out now but isn’t coaching football.
We absolutely should take a swing though and it would be a worth while investment.
He produced elite teams that dominated late in games and is a TM disciple

The Team when lined up vs BAma, UGA, TX Am is physically smaller on the OL/DL no muscle definition and just looks soft. Saw it at every home game on the field and several away games past 3 years.

Well yeah, those teams are significantly more talented at those positions and we're playing a lot of 3 stars and young players.

I dont think jake flint is the problem. We have had a talent deficiency

If you notice, no one that has any bit of intelligence blames it on the S&C.
