I need to get one with this gun, Bergara 6.5cm, my son is ahead of me with it.
Oaks. I thought about getting closer to the river, assuming others chase deer to the edges. Definitely other hunters around. No shots so far. They were out eating on my drive in, but maybe another hunter or midday hunger will get them moving before rain comes.

One member just killed a doe in front of the beagles and they’ve been running something else for probably 2 hours. Them little dogs are putting work in this morning.

I was in the tree at 530. No shots anywhere til noon, then I heard about 15 in 20 minutes, only one kind of close. Quiet now. There is some magical rhythm that I don't know about.

Just started raining here. Got 2 does on camera eating corn. Turning loose on them now. Only have 8 standers tho. Might be in for a lot of chasing.

I finally saw a doe at about 600 yards and it took everything I had in me to not launch one. If it wasn't Sunday I don't think my will power would have held out.

Looking for her first deer. Had a 80lb-ish doe within 50 yards yesterday evening. She freaked out and didn’t pull the trigger because she didn’t have her ear muffs. Trying again this evening with her walkers.
Talked her down and told her we’ll get one today. Was this close to her first deer

Went from thermals on the morning hunt to thermacell on the evening hunt today. ( empty cartridge) lol
