Even the amounts of drugs in wastewater that get there by the natural route (as in not directly dumped....well, i guess they are dumped, so to speak) are showing up in animals. Certain birds have been shown to have pretty high amounts of antidepressants in their systems. Insects feeding on shite in wastewater ponds/drainages take in the meds, then birds feed on them. Something about the meds drives birds to eat more than normal, and at varying times than normal. The meds also mess with mating habits.
