He is that 1 cut full speed guy.
He will be great for that outside zone. Has ro polish some things up but he has the speed and power.

I believe he finished with 38 carries for 218 yds. Kid is like the Energizer bunny, his motor doesn’t stop

He does seem to have that deceptive speed like he’s gliding, along with power. Reminds me of Eric Dickerson.

Reminds me of Curtis Martin. Patient following his blockers, very physical for his size, and lots of yards after contact. John Curtis plays a physical defense with 8 in the box. Lindsey was gashing them for 5-8 yds a carry and it took 3-4 players to bring him down.

Biggest adjustment for our young RB room next year will be picking up blockers/blitzers and when scripted flowing out for a pass. I would guess they didn't do much of it in HS and some SEC LBs/Ss will be a load. With that said, the ability to create big plays in the running game should be consistently there. Look forward to seeing them in action.

Lindsey is ranked as a top 10 RB almost everywhere but has a 3-star offer list. Does anybody know why that is?

Relax he’s legit and players better competition than Berry. I know everyone loves Harlem Berry because of the 5 star status but don’t sleep on Lindsey

I know one thing about JT, he has ran against the best that 5A has and also the reigning 4A state champions. He is a talented RB for sure. I like his future at LSU.

I said this earlier in the week. He looks just as impressive as berry but doing it against the best competition in Louisiana. Wont be surprised to see him getting carries rather than Berry next year.
This is all a compliment to Lindsey rather than a negative to Berry.

I don’t know the answer to that. I speculate that he was kind of a “late bloomer” that shot up the charts to high RB nationally and number two RB in the state—after he committed to LSU.
From what I read on SI dot com, after Underwood decommitted, we were looking vulnerable with our recruiting class and as we know, other programs swooped in like vultures trying to poach our class.
JTL’s phone blew up during that period with calls from “top schools.” And I imagine that call list was much more impressive than Pitt, Cal, Arky State, and the other schools who first offered him along with LSU.

I would hope that 100% of players committed to LSU look like absolute studs on a field against high school players. That's kind of how they get teams like LSU's attention.

Couple weeks back, Bayou Cowboy said JT was good but you can’t judge him on his 200 plus yards against Evangel - Evangel not as good as in prior years. Now 200 plus against Curtis. Guess Curtis not good either.
