Can Toviano play Safety?

Losing Kylin is a bummer. Is there any way they can replace him with Toviano?

That’s what he was recruited as. But if he were able to play there effectively I find it hard to believe that he wouldn’t have been playing above Gilbert or Burns.

Toviano not playing much was a huge surprise to me. He’s a good player.

I thought the same thing, but I feel like CBK really puts a lot of stock into experience over talent or potential.

I think he was always considered a safety, he's just had to fill in holes. But his future is at safety, he doesn't seem to have CB hips.

My guess is Kelly puts a lot of stock into dedication to the game and doing the work off the field to improve yourself. Pretty sure that doesn't include filming yourself having sex with girls. That alone shows right there he is quite immature.

His natural position is safety. Only played CB in 23 because we needed him to.

This has been proven wrong every season Kelly has been here. Has played younger players in many different situations.

He didn’t play as much the last three weeks because we went more 4-3 and stopped playing a Star. Before that, he was getting some game snaps as a reserve and recording stats.
