Talks about this being first hunting season without his dad and maybe some divine intervention. Worth the click, it’s a twitter page btw. Pics and story on there, sorry I don’t know how to load them.

Thank you I figured someone would do that. I checked the help board first but didn’t see any info on how to imbed a link in my post.

I follow Ben on IG and have noticed a few things:
A.) He is living the dream. Good family man; Calls baseball games for TV; Hunts and fishes all the time.
B.) His property in Mississippi has some absolute brutes. Huge deer year after year meet their maker to his arrows.
C.) His wife gets her mower stuck a lot.

Anyone know his draw length? I imagine he can generate some serious energy.

No idea but I just noticed he only has a short stabilizer in front way don’t in front of the bottom limb, then a long back stabilizer. Is that a Hoyt thing?

I've seen other bows set up that way. I looked into it a few years ago then decided nothing was broken in my set up and moved on.

Hell of a buck...
Not looking to start an e-fight but just say he killed it. You guys sound like you are searching for a DEI job with that stuff.

Great story. I met Ben on a driving range before a golf tourney years ago and we struck up a conversation. A very friendly down-to-earth guy who looked you in the eye and took an interest. Could not have been nicer.

Where is his land? I know he hunted with Russ Johnson. Russ' dad started the woodstock plantation in woodville back in the 80s. I had a friend who managed it and killed hammers.

Great story. I had a similar one years ago. My hunting mentor, Jimmy, had died the previous spring. The last deer he killed on the club was an eleven point out of a pine tree he’d climbed. One evening, I finally decided to climb that same pine. As the day faded away, I was overwhelmed with the sadness that we’d never gather up after a hunt again. No more laughs. No more cups of coffee on a cold, rainy day together. As last light approached, I regained my composure a bit. Then a fine eight point appeared in the fire lane. He was the best buck I ever killed at that club. I’ll always believe that God and Jimmy sent that 8 point to me.

He seems like an all around good dude. And he kills some hammers.

Known ben socially for about 30 years. A lot of people will say he's 100% the guy you see on TV and social media. I'll tell you he's even better than that. Great human.

His property is about 30mi north of Woodville. Great buck but he is hunting an ~800 acre high fence
