Colorado loses two first round picks who start at three positions and has the 37th ranked recruiting class.. Only 4th best in the Big 12. No five stars, five four stars and only 13 in the class.

Prime’s coaching reminds me an old hack/glitch on NCAA I would use. Put your fastest overall players (usually a DB or WR) at QB and RB and run a certain play action pass or halfback pass that would automatically make the defense drop back into pass coverage and just keep it and run. 10+ yards a pop every time easy

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that Deion's philosophy is to focus almost all of his attention on the portal. Any guys he recruits from high school are guys he expects to come in and contribute right away.

I don't think that is the best philosophy long-term, but we'll see.

That may be enough to win 9 or 10 games in the Big 12 and compete for the conference title in a down year but I think you are capped as to what you can accomplish beyond that. You are never going to build a cohesive unit in the trenches with depth with the portal alone.

He'll stock up on transfers again. Probably not a terrible move since i dont think he's staying there long term.

Reminds me of the Washington Redskins that had three first round picks from 1969-1990 but yet was able to have a ton of success with late round draft picks and trading for and signing veteran players. Went completely against the conventional thinking of building teams by hitting on first round draft picks. There’s more than one way to skin a cat.

He basically fired the entire Colorado roster....when he moved in.....

Inserted his Jackson State team....you know, his Louis Vuitton....If he stays once he's done promoting his son, he's gonna have to find another school to raid and get paid.

There is a 0% chance that he will coach at Colorado next year.

There have been several rumblings that a slew of high profile players will be entering the portal this offseason, he could clean up.

Juju Lewis will probably be a better QB than Shadeur, so he has that part covered assuming he actually sticks around for the long haul.

There is a small part of me that believes the Cowboys try and move up to #1 in the draft for Shadeur and then hire Deion as their next HC. I don't think this would be a great idea by any means, but it's right in Jerry's wheelhouse.

I’m not saying that would be stupid, I’m saying it would be retarded. Yes, right in Jerruh’s wheelhouse.

Deion will most likely not be at Colorado next year and I wouldn’t be surprised if he announced very soon after the bowl game that he is leaving. It wasn’t about Colorado ever. It was about his 2 sons and Travis Hunter.

It's weird that people act like Hunter is his 3d son and not the literal best recruit in the country that Deion convinced to go to a FCS/SWAC school and who now is probably going to win the Heisman. Deion can recruit, and, he's now got a track record to show high-level recruits/ transfers that they will get the spotlight if they come play for him.
