Hey guys,
I make 2-3 trips every year to hunt prairie dogs. The trips are long, 10-12 hours, and I'm usually alone. I'm looking for a small, personal cooler to fit in the passenger seat so I can reach over and grab a diet coke or snacks. I bought a small cooler from Walmart last spring, but it's worthless as it keeps ice only 4-6 hours. I don't want a big cooler or something in the back seat. I'm leaning toward a hard side cooler. Seems like the soft sided coolers I've been around always sweated. I've recently come across the Artic Road Trip Personal Cooler. The dimensions and cost are about right. Does anyone have personal experience w/ this cooler or other/better suggestions?

That's a good looking ice chest. I use an older style RTIC roadie.
For uh... Diet cokes too.

I have a Yeti 20qt. Love that thing. Use it all the time.
Won it at an NRA banquet.

I almost bought the one you linked a couple of months ago. I changed my mind and went with a 12 quart from Academy. I wanted something really small. Anyway, I love it.

For what you are wanting I think that’s going to be the best unless you want more of the roadie style but the price will go up.

I wish I could design a cooler.
2" walls. Gasketed lid. NOT super heavy duty.
Yes a bear could tear it to shreds. No it wouldn't break you back empty or need pre-chilling.

Get a can of spray foam and inject it into the lids and sides of the cooler. Also, use some reusable freezer packs in it. May extend you cold time a couple hours.

Only question I have is. You hunt prairie dogs?
