I agree with him build a foundation with young players.
I will say it again “ if we had a nice running game, we would have lost only 1 or 2 games

makes it more difficult when you can bank on him starting 0-1 each year

I hope not, but here is the reality, we play the same SEC schedule next year and instead of USC, we get Clemson at their house. Home/away splits in the SEC are the real deal.

Depending on what we do in the portal I can see a very similar season unfolding.

For what it is worth, I had us going 10-2 this year with losses to Bama and AM.

zero reason to schedule tough OOC opponents anymore without the BCS. all they do is hurt your chances at a playoff. SEC was always tough enough and it is now tougher than ever with all these teams.

BCS is gone. SOS and QW do not matter anymore.

we are back to the 1980s with human polls only. They want to see wins. They want to see blowouts. how you win absolutely matters with human polls. dump clemson and schedule someone else.

This year was the easier year and we went 8-4. USC ended up 6-6 and UF 7-5. We didn’t have to play a team with fewer than 3 losses. Bama and Clemson on the road seem like probable losses. UF has a good recruiting class and has figured out the QB. OU in Norman to end the season want be a cakewalk either. Add in Ole Miss on the road and A&M at home and 9-3 looks like a pretty good season. 8-4 very likely.

1. Our talent level is increasing and will be better overall next season.

2. We will have a lot of young but experienced talent returning (hopefully) for 2025 and onward.

3. IF Nuss returns, we will do better than 8-4 next season, IMO. If not, then much will depend on whom we can pick up and fit in from The Portal.

4. I still have faith that BK can get it done at LSU.

I think the sad truth is defense will look even better next year, but with an all new OLine offense will take a step back, at least in the early season. Maybe we get lucky with the SEC scheduling and we catch the 2 weakest early. If not we are probably 4-2 at midway with 5 remaining games being SEC opponents.

That's idiotic, considering we have absolutely no clue what anybodies roster will actually look like next year. The portal could completely overhaul, or destroy, any team.

But I wouldn't expect anything less than a completely retarded statement coming from you.

I agree, if we don’t fill some holes(and Nuss leaves) I could see us losing 5 next year.
