Feel like the two guys are matchup nightmares. Just seems like we heard so much about them in the preseason to only have a few highlights.

We will run some two tight end sets with them next year. Especially if they put on some mass and can improve blocking

I think they may see more use in the bowl game.

Need to be able to count on them when they’re in. Both have missed some blocking assignments badly, and Pimpton was having some trouble dropping balls. Gotta put in the work. They’ll get there.

Yea, but it doesn’t help when you can’t mask your offense when they are out on the line. Green vs a WR blocking vs Green vs a DL or LB is totally different.

Pimpton had 2 catches for 53 yards, an 11 yard grab on a 3rd down where he did a great job shielding out the DB that wast trying to cut in from to deflect the pass and a 42 yarder down the sideline where he was wide open and did a good job fighting for extra yards while a DB was trying to yank the ball out of his hands.

Anderson took off and had to stay in the slot. Green will be used way more. Pimpton will be used like Taylor.

He is a liability as a blocker ( yes, WRs must block, and certainly TEs must block well against big players).
Green has huge potential, and he is young, but I get the impression there are “coachability” issues of some sort.

If those two can hit the weight room and muscle up enough to be decent run-blocking tight ends, then it will make some issues for defenses. Bring them in tight and you can run from a 2 TE set. Split them wide and you effectively are playing with 4 wideouts. What personnel does the defense use to stop that? There's gotta be a mismatch somewhere.

Taylor is so much better than both of them that there's not much point. Both are soft, dont attack the ball, and arent good blockers. Maybe theyll get better next year, but Taylor is underappreciated

It may be a mismatch on the pass rush.

Considering they are FRESHMAN I think they came along pretty good
during the year.I know all of our players should be AAs right out the gate.

I would like to see some I-formation with two TE’s like Georgia has previously done with those two in. Plus we have Caden so we can have a really good 1-2 punch running the ball then play action

Pimpton looked impressive last night. He made a highly contested catch over the middle that show she can be counted on.

Agree but Pimpton just had his best game of his career
