Kelly might have won me back over with his speech last night.

I was worried that he was in over his head and knew it, but it sounds like he still has the drive to win a natty. It also appears that the players haven't quit like some of the fans have (myself included, at times). Let's Geaux!

He gave a very coherent talk and with specific examples during the presser on what he is doing to build the program to compete for championships. Not hyperbole, but getting the pieces together and executing.

He could have done all of that without saying "See you in the national championship" and the bit about "keeping receipts". That's pretty immature. Just win and compete for titles and that is all he needs to do.

I agree the table pounding was cringy, but last night was less emotional outburst and more plan of action.
I was to see results too. All in saying is I have more hope today than I did Friday.
