Because this season he has done more with less. I'm willing to bet that Vandy has spent the least amount of NIL money compared to any other SEC team. Imagine what that coaching staff could have done this year with an actual NIL budget.

We hired Dinardo from Vandy once. Why would we learn our lesson. Kelly isn’t getting fired anytime soon.

LET ME START THIS OFF WITH I DONT AGREE, BUT HERES THE ARGUEMENT.
Yeah, but you have to admit this season has been impressive. They've upset quite a few teams, have been in contention for most of their loses, and according to this forum, Pavia is way worse than Nuss.
So, coaching has to be the answer, right? I mean, is Vandy really just flat out BETTER than LSU this year? Sure, LSU won, but looking at the rest of the season there is definitely a difference in that team? So, what is it? They don't have nearly the amount of 5, 4, or even 3 stars on that team.

They are 3-4 in the SEC and 6-5 overall. So no they would not be better by any objective measure.

We may have beaten Vandy only by 7 points, but at no point in the 4thQ was Vandy gonna win that game.
When we have top 5 talent we will be a top 5 team, IMO.

I'd disagree. Our best win this year is 3 loss Ole Miss. We lost 42-13 to their best win 40-35. They lost to #3 Texas by 3 points. We lost to 5 loss USC. These teams are WAY more evenly matched than you think, which is sad because our team has spent WAY more NIL dollars than Vandy has. I mean Pavia was basically BEGGING for donors after the Bama win. We also have the 8th highest paid head coach, and the most expensive defensive coaching staff in the country with the highest paid defensive coordinator. Our QB has been on the roster 4 years and has started multiple games. So yeah, we should be much better than Vandy, but we aren't.
