Did Clark write anything recently that questions or challenged the Pels? The timing is weird. Maybe the TP just isn’t going to cover them as much.

I don’t doubt that the team didn’t care for him but there’s little chance the pelicans have that kind of leverage over the newspaper
and if that ever got out it would be a PR disaster

You’re probably right but didn’t they pull credentials for a few other media members within the last few years? It seems like I remember that happening.

By far the best pels beat writer. We’re no longer going to get any scoop on the org. The other writers are too scared to ask tough questions

Gayle Benson does have that type of leverage. The Times Picayune isnt the NY Post. Not sure if she did any of this- but also possible she did. As for the PR disaster- kind of hard when the only legit reporter covering you is gone.

Supposedly ProPels talk had their credentials pulled because according to them the negative talk they were doing on their podcast.

And again, a massive difference between reporting Christian Clark does and the stuff Pro Pels Talk was saying on every podcast.
Pro Pels Talk wasn't/isn't to be taken as a serious media outlet, they're just some angry dudes having meltdowns every chance they get. And I say that as a dude who was a big fan of them, the podcasts, own a few of their Pels themed shirts, etc. They've gone off the deep end, big time.

I didn’t remember whose credentials were removed. I only remembered reading about it at some point.
